Kirsty went from A levels straight into a small accountancy practice in St Albans, where she worked for 16 years working her way up from Junior accountant to Senior Auditor, she studied for her ACCA exams in the evenings and at weekend school and part qualified. Working on a variety of clients from sole traders to Limited companies, groups and charities she covered all aspects of bookkeeping, VAT returns, corporation tax, audit of small to medium sized businesses.
In a change of career Kirsty then worked for a learned Royal Charter Society for 13 years, starting as Senior administrator and being promoted to Registrar in the last few years. She covered all the charity admin, meeting admin, conference organization, subscription database admin and kept the bookkeeping functions and accounts preparation up to date and running smoothly.
Having come back to the profession that she loves, Kirsty loves a challenge and working out problems, she is very organized and proactive in bookkeeping and accounts production.
In her spare time, pre pandemic, Kirsty enjoys going to the theatre and seeing live shows, and has been dragged to many music concerts by her teenage daughters. In the new reality Netflix or a good book with a cup of tea are Kirsty’s go to to wind down after a long day of figures.

Over Denise’s career she has covered all aspects of bookkeeping, VAT returns, Management Accounts and running various departments or businesses. Being now in Practice has allowed Denise to go back to her first love, payroll.
Denise is a member of AAT, but has been a member of CIPP, and would love one day to finish a degree in Payroll Management.
When Denise is not in the office she enjoys the theatre, good food and wine, travelling especially sightseeing holidays - She is not very good at lying on a beach. Books and walking with the dogs.
